The Call to The Guild is the ceremony held annually on the festival day of Corpus Christi, usually at the Stone Hall, Trinity Guildhall, Kings Lynn.  In this ceremony, new apprentices and Guild members are taken into the Guild and sign their indenture (certificate) dedicating themselves to seven years apprenticeship under The Guild Master.

The cost of life entry into The Guild for apprentices is a loaf of bread, a pint of beer and 33 pence.
