Rules regarding expulsion of members
22.1 Members deemed to be injurious to The Guild can be removed from their position with loss of all privileges. Theft and violence will result in instant expulsion. Paragraphs 17.4 17.5 17.6 also deal with this matter.
22.2 The reason for any member's removal are:
22.2.1 Theft from Guild or from other Guild member.
22.2.2 Bringing The Guild into disrepute.
22.3 A Head Master can only be removed through a majority vote of 66% of no confidence from the Court, full members and 3 or more of the 5 Masters of the Board of Masters.
22.4 A Clerk can only be removed through a majority vote of 66% of no confidence from the court and full members combined.
22.5 Acceptable reasons for a Head Master's removal are:
22.5.1 Bringing Guild into disrepute.
22.5.2 Theft from Guild or from other Guild member.
22.5.3 Failing consistently to train Apprentices to the standard required.
22.5.4 Consistent unreliability to the detriment of The Guild and it's members
22.5.5 Continually working against The Guild's constitution.
22.6 Acceptable reasons for a Clerk's removal are:
22.6.1 Bringing Guild into disrepute.
22.6.2 Theft from Guild or from other Guild member.
22.6.3 Mismanagement of Guild finances.
22.6.4 Consistent unreliability to the detriment of The Guild and it's members.
22.6.5 Continually working against The Guild's constitution.
22.7 Any member expelled from The Guild and who has paid into the Frith Fund will be allowed aid only up to the amount s/he as paid in plus base rate interest. No cash reimbursement will be made to the expelled member.
